Krystal Integrated Services, a leading facilities management company, has expressed strong interest in hiring Agniveers after their short-term engagement with the Indian armed forces concludes. Sanjay Dighe, the company's Chief Executive, highlighted that the skills and training acquired by Agniveers during their military service make them ideal candidates for high-remuneration roles in the private sector.
Dighe pointed out that companies like Krystal can serve as a "good bridge" between the departing Agniveers and the corporate sector, particularly in safeguarding valuable assets. He emphasised that there is significant demand for such talent, ensuring that Agniveers transitioning into the private sector will be gainfully employed without delay.
Founded 24 years ago as a security provider for office and residential complexes, Krystal Integrated Services currently employs over 5,800 security personnel. The company recently recruited a senior army officer with experience in the Agniveer scheme to strengthen its workforce.
In a bid to convey the career opportunities available, Dighe noted that in some instances, security guards at Krystal earn better than back-office staff at call centres. He also revealed that the company aims to accelerate its revenue growth to 30 per cent annually between FY25 and FY28, up from the 23 per cent achieved over the last three years, with a focus on technological advancements and expanding into areas like waste and sewerage management.
